In Chapter 6 we will show you how to use the on board SCSI trace file system. Part 2 details how to enable on board tracing using command sequence from Flash2GUI or Recovery Manager.
Note: This option is only available for Ethernet devices with trace enabled firmware versions, these all have “FS” in the firmware name.
This video will show you the script file, and Flash2GUI options for enabling on board SCSI trace fil system. Note: To enable the file system there must be spare space on the drive, i.e. card size 8GB/drive size 4GB, if the entire card is utilised to emulate the drive, no file system can be created. It is recommended to have at least 250MB free.
