Reading, United Kingdom –Solid State Disks Ltd (SSDL), the advanced storage systems design, development and integration specialist, will be exhibiting at the Electronic Component Show (ECS), Kassum Stadium, Oxford on 19th September 2024. The company will be displaying a wide range of commercial and industrial memory products from Innodisk, Transcend, and Western Digital (SanDisk) and SSDL’s technical experts and supply chain specialists will be on hand to offer advice and guidance.
Products on show are set to include Flash storage devices (such as M.2 PCIe and SATA SSDs and Compact Flash, CFast, SD, MicroSD and embedded disk cards) and industrial embedded DRAM modules. Embedded peripherals, such as I/O, LAN, CANbus and camera modules, will also be on display.
“ECS 2024 promises to be a great show and we’re really looking forward to it,” comments James Hilken, Sales Director of SSDL. “As a value-added reseller, rather than a traditional distributor, we know the importance of working with design engineers and purchasers to make sure their immediate and long-term requirements are satisfied.”
Hilken goes on to explain that sourcing electronics components is not just about finding the right part for the right price, it is also about finding the right partner – one that is wholly empathetic to the challenges of those designing in the components, those tasked with finding the components and those manufacturing and servicing the products that employ the components.
“And to have that empathy, and to provide the highest level of support, the supplier needs experienced engineers and supply chain experts in-house which – as an OEM of products ourselves – SSDL does” adds Hilken. “We also have very close relationships with our suppliers.”
SSDL’s decision to exhibit at ECS is largely based on the huge success of the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics event earlier this year and the level of engagement from attending engineers. “We built some great relationships at Southern and have been able to help many engineers. We’re sure ECS will be just as successful.”
