SSDL to Exhibit at Electronics Live 2025

5 Dec 2024

.

Reading, United Kingdom –Solid State Disks Ltd (SSDL), the advanced storage systems design, development and integration specialist, will be exhibiting at Electronics Live; being held at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham on 22nd January 2025. The company will be displaying a wide range of commercial and industrial memory products from its trusted suppliers Innodisk, Transcend, and Western Digital (SanDisk) and SSDL’s technical experts and supply chain specialists will be on hand to offer advice and guidance.

Products on show will include Flash storage devices (such as M.2 PCIe and SATA SSDs and Compact Flash, CFast, SD, MicroSD and embedded disk cards) and industrial embedded DRAM modules. Embedded peripherals, such as I/O, LAN, CANbus and camera modules, will also be on display.

“Electronics Live 2025 promises to be a great show and we’re really looking forward to it,” comments James Hilken, Sales Director of SSDL. “As a distributor and, more crucially, a value-added reseller we know the importance of working with design engineers and purchasers to make sure their immediate and long-term requirements are satisfied.”

Hilken goes on to explain that sourcing electronics components is not just about finding the right part for the right price. It is also about finding the right partner, one that is wholly empathetic to the challenges of not only the engineers designing parts into product, but also those tasked with finding the parts, those responsible for manufacturing the products, and those who will be responsible for supporting the product throughout its life.

“To have that level of empathy, and in order to provide the highest level of support, the distributor or VAR must have experienced engineers and supply chain experts in-house,” adds Hilken. “As an OEM of products ourselves, we do. We also have very close relationships with our suppliers and, through them, we can offer services such as locking down bills of material.”

SSDL’s decision to exhibit at Electronics Live is largely based on the success of the Electronic Component Show (ECS) earlier this year and the level of engagement with the engineers that attended and visited the company’s stand.

Hilken concludes: “We built some great relationships at ECS and have been able to help many engineers. We’re sure Electronics Live will be just as successful.”
